Well, I can't really help you, the 5-7-5 is a complete mystery for me.
One of the hardest form of poetry that I know is the very classic, probably french, Alexandrin, a poem with rhymes of 12 syllabels each, always organised in multiples of 4 in the same paragraph. (4-8-12 lines per paragraph so to say).
Oh, and I forgot to say that after the 6th syllabel you must create a "cesure" = a break ( a "," or to stop the word, or the meaning of the sentence could be this cesure). But that's only in the case you want to make perfect Alexandrins (to humiliate you opponent in a poetry contest, but that's just an example).

well, i must say, i have no idea what you mean with that =)
so each line has 12 syllables? and every 6th syllable needs to end a line? or is it 4 syllables in the first 4 lines then a new verse with 4 lines with 8 syllables and then 4 more lines with 12 syllables?
couldnt find the poetry form in wikipedia so im not quite sure what you mean =) wanna make a example? just useing "HA"s? like

I'm sure it asked you a huge effort and a lot of time to write this poem.
I think we will all agree that alexandrine is the hardest form of poetry, but it creates a whole different way a wrtitting, and the result worths the effort, far deeper than free style.
The syllabels were fine (it is so perfect that I even wondered for one second if you stole it from a book ).
